New technologies for splicing study
In order to provide innovative useful and powerful solutions, GenoSplice R&D activity is focused on development of tools allowing to take full advantage of new technologies such as high-throughput sequencing.
In a generally manner, GenoSplice will develop all bioinformatics tools necessary for any technology that can help study of splicing in the future. This includes new technologies for transcriptomics, but also technologies (present and future) for genetic and proteomic studies, taking into account effect "on splicing" and "of splicing" respectively.
Medical applications
GenoSplice dedicates its splicing knowledge and know-how to medical field. We decided to apply our powerful technologies to find new biomarkers for disease prognosis/diagnosis. In this context, our technological platform has already provided very interesting results for breast cancer prognosis (Dutertre et al., Cancer Research 2010).
